My adult children and I spent an incredible afternoon at Atelier123 creating a one of a kind artwork. Nancy guided us expertly through the process, she was inspiring and created a space we were all so comfortable in. Now I have a unique and beautiful work of art that will hang on my wall for years to come and remind me of that special time and space I shared with my favorite humans. Such a beautiful and meaningful experience with Nancy, who creates a warm, welcoming space where you can be creative and try new things. Her kindness, expertise and encouragement make you feel comfortable, supported and inspired. I had wanted to try painting for a long time, and I’m so happy I finally did !! It was easier than I thought, and I love how my first painting turned out.

Nancy is an amazing teacher who gives you the guidance, support, and confidence needed to create magic.
My first painting is already hanging in my home :) and my family loves it !!

The studio is cozy, welcoming, and inspiring.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Atelier 123, and it turned out to be one of the most special experiences we’ve shared together.

Walking in, we were honestly a bit nervous...this was completely outside our comfort zone. We don't see ourselves as "creative" at all. But we loved the idea of doing something different, something that would challenge us and something fun (which it totally was)!

Nancy was an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, she guided us with such warmth, patience, and intuition. She navigated us as a couple beautifully. And even when we couldn’t quite see where the process was going, she supported and gently led us forward. We trusted her & the process, and we’re so glad we did.

What we created together is something we’ll treasure forever. Somehow, our piece took on the shape of an anatomical heart—our love, expressed through art. We named it “This is Us 🩷,” and it couldn’t feel more fitting.

Nancy is an absolute gift!! My kids love art, and they weren’t sure what to expect when I dropped them off (yes, it’s drop off!!) for two hours to create magic for me for Mother’s Day. My son was hesitant. My daughter was stubborn about what she wanted to paint me.  Nancy has such a kind and caring knowing way about her, there were instantly comfortable, engaged, and has the best time! They still talk about the “nance romance” smoothie snacks she made them, and my 6 year old son laying down for a quick power nap mid-painting!  My gifts hang above my bed and are forever cherished - capturing their personalities today like a beautiful stamp of time. Thank you!!!! 10000/10 recommend. I had the most special time learning and creating with Nancy at her breath taking studio in Toronto. I’ve been want to do a large painting for ages but was so scared to attempt it on my own. We had a wonderful experience at Atelier 123. Nancy is a very caring and talented teacher who really knows how to inspire creativity.
She encourages them to explore their ideas and express themselves freely.

Nancy MacDonald at Atelier 123 made the entire experience so meaningful and special. She was kind, thoughtful, and incredibly patient in the way she taught and guided us, creating a warm and inspiring space from start to finish. We left with not only a beautiful piece of art made with so much love and care, but also a memory we’ll truly carry with us forever.
